How do I know how much airplane I need?
We will work with you to assess your travel requirements and then assist you in purchasing an aircraft with whole or shared ownership, which meets your specific needs. If your travel needs change after your initial purchase, we can adjust the arrangement to accommodate your needs.

I currently own a twin-engine turbine aircraft…should I stick with it?
This is a timely and relevant question. The efficiency and comfort of the PC-12’s 21st century design places it in a unique class among turbine business aircraft. We’ll work with you to develop a personal air travel assessment, using industry standard data from your current aircraft, the Pilatus, or other aircraft which best “fits” your air travel needs. Once you’ve got the data, the choice is yours.

Can I fly out of any airport?
The Pilatus PC-12 is uniquely able to fly out of airports with relatively limited and even unpaved runways, a distinct advantage of this aircraft. Our staff will schedule flights for you that are as convenient and efficient, getting you as close as possible to your departure and arrival destinations.

What if my shared-ownership aircraft is scheduled by another partner when I need to travel?
Our convenient online calendar enables owners to quickly check their aircraft schedule. Strategic Moves staff makes every effort to schedule your travel in your aircraft, however, should a scheduling conflict arise, we can usually utilize an interchange aircraft from our fleet to fulfill your needs.

How much does it cost?
Ownership is uncomplicated and cost-effective at Strategic Moves. A monthly fee covers all of your aircraft management services, including , insurance, pilot services, maintenance and escrows.


Do you offer financing?
We work with a range of financial services groups who can tailor resources to meet your needspending on your level of ownership. At our minimum one-third share ownership level, there are several financing options available.

How long is the ownership contract?
The term of the contract lasts six years and is based on the engine maintenance cycle.

Can I sell my share?
Yes. When you are interested in selling your share, we will represent you in the sale to a qualified buyer. The Pilatus PC-12 retains among the strongest aircraft in it’s class in resale value; recently improving versus legacy-design competitors.

What are the qualification standards for Strategic Moves Pilots?
Our pilots are carefully selected based on their experience and safety records. All Strategic Moves pilots meet FAA charter pilot requirements as minimum standards. In addition, nearly our entire professional pilot staff is CFI rated, and Strategic Moves requires that they maintain all training and certifications, including annual attendance at accredited training institues.Our professional pilot’s number one priority is safety, and you can be assured of a comfortable and convenient flight.

How is my aircraft maintained?
Our Director of Maintenance oversees all aircraft maintenance at our Statesville Regional Airport maintenance base. As part of our FAA 135 Charter certification, we comply with all standards of inspection and maintenance mandated by the FAA. These standards are monitored and verified by our maintenance staff and professional pilots who carefully inspect every aircraft prior to every flight. And unique to Strategic Moves, Steve Setzer, brings his Marine One maintenance experience from the Presidential helicopter squadron to our company standards, ensuring our aircraft are maintained to comparable standards.
